Cassiophone, according to Greek mythology, is the daughter of Ulysses and of Circe himself. Cassifone accidentally kills his father Ulisse some years after he finally managed to return to Ithaca. Telemachus, the son Ulysses had from his Penelope bride, revenge Ulysses killing Cassifone. Circe and Telemach fall in love and marry. Circe, coming to know that her beloved is the one who murdered her daughter, tries to kill him, but she does not succeed, indeed Telemachus is killing her for legitimate defense. According to other versions, Cassifone married Brother Telemachus. But as he had killed his mother Circe, Cassifone revenged him by killing him.
