With the definition Ville Unite is historically a large area of the Province of Ravenna south of the Municipality of Ravenna, bordering on the west with the homonymous zone called "Ville Disunite". It draws its name from the fact that it is located south of the United Rivers, a stream of water formed by the confluence of the rivers Ronco and Montone.
Geographically the territory is delimited by the polygon formed to the west by the Ravegnana Road (axis Forlì-Ravenna), current S.S. 67, located on the axis of the river Ronco, to the east by Via Romea and the Savio River, to the south from the border of the Province of Ravenna
