Hedwig of Formbach (around 1057 - 1090) were heirs of Süpplingenburg. She was a daughter of Frederik van Formbach (around 1035 - 1059) and Gertrude van Haldensleben.
In her first marriage, she was married to Gebhard van Supplinburg. This died on 9 June 1075 at Langensalza. He fought in a coalition of Saxony and Lorraine against Emperor Hendrik IV and his allies. A few weeks later their son Lotharius III of Supplinburg was born. This would become an emperor of Holy Roman empire more than 50 years later. Earlier she had become the mother of a daughter, Ida, who would marry with Count Sieghard of Tengling.
Shortly after the death of her first husband, she married one of the Lorraine allies of her husband, Diederik II of Lorraine, a son of Duke Gerard van Lorraine and Hedwig van Namen. Together they received two children, a son and a daughter: Footnotes
