ObjectStar


ObjectStar is a commercial programming language for building platform-independent applications, originally developed by Amdahl and then housed in a separate company named their (sole) product.

ObjectStar has a toolset that lets you build applications' applications' (screens and reports), 'inside' of applications (Registry logic) and the ' bottom 'of applications (table definitions). ObjectStars development environment was written in the language itself. ObjectStar was acquired by TIBCO in 2005.

Previously, this programming language was called HURON; It was named after a place in Ohio.
