Casa Zambelli is a residential building near the Urban Park of Franco Agosto in Forlì, built between 1956 and 1961 by Milanese architects Franco Albini and Franca Helg.
Architectural typology is defined by a planimetry in which right angles prevail. It consists of staggered cores, assembled around a central main space or a staircase with an irregular mode. The external profile is therefore hacked and adapts to the local morphology of the site on which it rises, and to the differences in height due to the proximity of the park hills. The structure also offers the possibility of differentiated diagonal facultative cuts that allow to frame the elements of the open space surrounding the structure itself, favoring the integration of the building into the surrounding environment.
The dwelling plant defines a sort of irregular H. One of the central recesses of the home is the entrance, while the vacuum creates a kind of semipian to C, with planes at different dimensions that determine the continuity between the interior of the building and the garden, embraced by the irregular movement of the living rooms lunch that are staggered and stuck together.
One of the 2 irregular side wings consists of the sequence of staggered bedrooms that are to create an external profile, as already mentioned, with saw teeth marked by the windows that empty the corners. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
