The Umzingwani (also spelled Umzingwane) is a tributary of the Limpopo in Matabeleland in Zimbabwe.
The river rises in the Matobo National Park south of Bulawayo. At Esogodini a dam from 1958 forms a lake of 57 million m³. After the weir, the Umzigwani flows south through West Nicholson and ends at Beitbridge in the Limpopo.
The catchment area is 12,600 km², but since the region has long periods of drought, it happens that the stream hardly contains water. There are gold diggers actively along the stream. In the places where this happens, the trees are felled and the water is contaminated with mercury.
