Willem Camman (1861-1862 - Amsterdam, July 30, 1890) was a Dutch architect.
He studied at the Quellinus Amsterdam Arts and Crafts School, where his talent remained unnoticed. After completing his studies in 1881, he worked for a short while at Pierre Cuypers's desk. Here was also Hans Madein, later architect in Bozen, who asked Camman to work for him. Camman was eventually employed by Madein until 1886, and was from July 1887 to March 1888 more in charge of the construction of the Coep Tower designed by Cuypers of the Brussels Conventuelen church.
After a short period of time, he worked for the architect J.J. from IJssendijk, also in Brussels, he joined the office of the municipal council in Arnhem. As an employee of this agency, he worked under the guidance of J.A. Lindo working out plans for a new town hall. When these plans were completed, he joined A.L. in April 1890. from Gendt in Amsterdam. Camman participated in various contests, including those for a new town hall in Zutphen. He passed away at the age of 28.
