Bartolomeo Montagna (Orzinuovi, Brescia, ca. 1450 - Vicenza, October 11, 1523) was an Italian painter.

Montagna was active in Vicenza since 1480 and later worked in Venice. His work was influenced by Carpaccio and Mantegna. Possibly he worked around 1490 in the studio of Giovanni Bellini. Montagno founded a painters school in Vicenza. He was the father and teacher of the engraver Benedetto Montagna.

Montagna's best known works include the Maria altar in the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, a pie in Vicenza and a number of frescoes in Verona. Externe link
