Monique Eusébie Ghislaine Charlotte Marie de Selys Longchamps (Brussels, February 9, 1906 - June 11, 1990) was a Belgian nobleman (baroness) who was a resistanceist during World War II.

Monique De Selys was the daughter of Baron Raymond de Selys Longchamps (1880-1966) and Emilie de Theux de Meylandt and Monjardin (1880-1972). She played an active role in the Resistance. This is evidenced by the high honors awarded to her: The War Medal War 1940-45 with Crossed Swords, the George Medal, second highest British award for citizens during World War II and the France and Germany Star (in English, the "France and Germany Star "), a distinction awarded by the British Commonwealth for operational service in the struggle in Western Europe in 1944 and 1945.

Monique de Selys marries in 1948 with British squadron leader Patrick Smith (1900-1975) who provided SAS and French troops from the SAS. He received, among other things, the Distinguished Service Order.

After the war, Monique de Selys worked as a nurse on sick pilgrimage to Banneux and to Lourdes. Literature
