Map from ca. 1737 ("Chinese Tartar") with China, Chinese Tartar and Tibet, as well as the Amor and the Amor Liman, based on the Jesuit expedition of 1709

The Amor-liman (Russian: Амурский лиман; Amoerski liman) is a liman (more) in the northern part of the Tatar Surname, named after the Amor River, which flows out into this water basin. The liman is located between the mainland of Asia (the Russian capital of Chabarovsk) and the island of Sachalin and connects the Tatar Desert with the Gulf of Sachalin of the Sea of Ochotsk. The Amoer liman has a length of about 185 kilometers from north to south, measuring at its widest point about 40 kilometers and varies in depth from 3 to 4.5 meters. The liman is covered with ice cream from November to May.

The western shore is whimsical and mountainous, while the eastern shore is low and sandy.
