Lou Adler (Chicago, December 13, 1933) is a US producer.

In the late fifties and early sixties, Adler, together with Herb Alpert, was the manager of the duo Jan & amp; Dean. Under the pseudonym "Barbara Campbell", the two also wrote a number of songs including Sam Cooke's Only Sixteen hits. In 1964 he founded the record company Dunhill Records, which became very successful after attracting the group The Mamas and the Papas. In 1966 he sold the company to ABC. In 1967 Adler was one of the initiators behind the Monterey Pop Festival and producer of the film about this festival. A year later, he founded his second record label, Ode Records.
