Basilan Street


Basilan Street is a strait in the south of the Philippines. This street separates the island Basilan of the Zamboanga Peninsula. The road is about 30 kilometers long and the narrowest part is 15.7 kilometers wide and forms the connection between the Gulf of Moro in the east and the Sulu Sea in the west. There are several islands in the street. To the east entrance, Coco, Malanipa, Sibago and Langil are located. Halfway, along the coast of Zamboanga City, are Tictauan, Great Santa Cruz and Little Santa Cruz. 6° 49′ NB, 122° 5′ OL
