Chahla Chafiq-Beski (1954) is an Iranian writer and sociologist. Leftist militant in 1983 had to leave his country to escape persecution from Khomeini's regime. In France, where he lives in exile, he has published several essays to denounce Islamicism and the power of ayatollah in Iran.
