Mutuality is the mutual obligation within a relationship to answer a gift with an antidote. If the relationship is equivalent, there is reciprocity, while inequality is discussed about redistribution. In the first case, it is mainly luxury goods, but in the second case there can also be primary goods. The gift can give power, as in a patronage system.
