Udayadityavarman II (... - 1066) was king of the Khmer Empire between 1050 and 1066.
He succeeded Suryavarman I, who was certainly not his father. He has to build the Baphuon temple-mountain dedicated to Shiva god and later converted to a Buddhist temple, and western Mebon. During its reign was built the Sdok Kak Thom temple, which is particularly famous for its stele featuring an inscription on 250 years of history from the family of high-ranking religious scholars who built the temple, with news on actual genealogy, important events and costumes of the kingdom.
His kingdom was also characterized by the numerous revolts that were suffocated with blood by his general Sangrama. Notemodify wikitesto
