Collective Demand-dependent Transport

Collective Demand-dependent Transport, abbreviated: CVV, in the Netherlands, is a door-to-door transport call. A Regiotaxi in Leuth, Arnhem Nijmegen City Region

Travelers must call at least one hour in advance to be picked up. This reservation usually requires a departure and destination address. This may include place, house number and zip code or street name. Since February 2011, it is possible to use a bus stop in the whole province of Gelderland. This is especially useful for people who want to travel to an unknown place, such as hikers on long-distance hiking trails. Usually, an uncertainty margin of 10 - 15 minutes applies around the agreed time of collection. If necessary, the ride is combined with a ride from other travelers. CVV is widely used in rural areas, with a limited OV offer. Usually, the CVV is combined with WMO passengers. Each municipality or region has its own name (Regiotaxi, OV taxi, etc) with its own reservation numbers, rules and rates. The transport is usually carried out by the regional taxi companies.

In October 2003, 39 different CVV concepts were used, serving 256 of the 489 municipalities. However, from the application of European tenders, more and more municipalities have been transferred to joint procurement of collective transport systems. An example of this is Limburg, where in 2006 the original French company Veolia Transport acquired the complete regular public bus service, the complete collective (taxi) transport and part of public rail transport.

National CVs are not valid for CVV. The rates are usually based on the stripping card: The traveler pays a fixed amount per OV zone between the 1 and 1.50 euros within the CVV area and about three times for each zone outside that area. As with the stripping card, travelers have to pay an additional zone as a base rate. For Wmo-indicated, the CVV rate is lower: 0.45 euro, just a little less than the price of a regular stripper card strip. The grant for the CVV is calculated in the same way as for city and regional transport with exactly the same supplementary factor. Flanders

In Flanders there is the "Minibus Transport" by volunteers of the Mindermobielencentrale. Also see
