Roswitha Trimborn


Roswitha Trimborn (about 1940) is a German clover club player. Lifecycle

Trimborn participated twice in the International Clovecamp Contest in Bruges, in the context of the Festival Musica Antiqua. In 1965 she received an honorable mention and in 1968 a certificate. In itself, this was already a nice encouragement. She studied at the Music School in Aachen and this until at least in 2000. Among her students: Alexander Moseler (Organist, Kirchen Musician at the Evangelical Frieden Church in Dortmund-Nordost, Harald Lochter (Camerata Aachen), Theo Krings (Director of Music Music School Heinsberg) , Eckhard Manz (Kantor Evangelische Kerken Essen-Altstadt-Mitte), René Rolle (Teacher Church Music in Aachen diocese, Region Aachen Region Aachen).

For many years she had been the clovercinist of Koelner Kammerorchester, led by Helmut Müller-Brühl, with whom she made many recordings. She was also a clavicleist for the Capella Clementina under the same conductor. She also made recordings as a clavicleist for the Brahms-Vokalquartett Bonn under the direction of Alfons Jonen.

Klavecimbel Builder Rainer Schütze built a 'Roswitha Trimborn Cembalo' in 1973, as an authentic copy of a historical instrument.
