Jimmy Anonmuaghoran Scott Emuakpor (1986) was a Nigerian percussionist.
He came to England in the 1950s and played with several artists (among others Georgie Fame and Rolling Stones) and his own band Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da. Paul McCartney lent this phrase ("life goes on") for the same Beatles song. Scott granted his cooperation but received no penny of the royalties; He tried a lawsuit but went into jail for overdue alimony. McCartney paid the deposit on condition that Scott rejected the lawsuit.
After giving him drum and percussion lessons in the 1970s, Scott joined Bad Manners in 1983. This creator had just signed a contract with Portrait Records (sub label of Epic) in order for an American breakthrough. This continued despite the Bad Manners being regularly sent to the US for performances. During the last tour, Scott, like many other members, ran a pneumonia; Shortly after returning in England, he died.
