The municipality of Terheijden is a former municipality in the west of northern Brabant. The main place of this municipality was Terheijden. In addition, they included Wagenberg and part of Langeweg.

Terheijden was an independent glory that was part of the Baronie van Breda. In 1328 Terheijden received a ship's bench (court) that consisted of a scout and seven shovels. Zonzeel also had its own ship's bench. In the 15th century, Zonzeel was completely lost due to severe floods, of which the St. Elisabeth Flood was the best known in 1421. Later Langeweg originated.

On January 1, 1997, a municipal redeployment took place, removing the municipality of Terheijden. Terheijden and Wagenberg were merged with the towns of Made, Drimmelen, Lage Zwaluwe, Hooge Zwaluwe, Helkant, Blauwe Sluis and Oud-Drimmelen to the Municipality of Made, which became a year later Drimmelen.

The Terheijdense part of Langeweg went over to the municipality of Zevenbergen, to which the rest of Langeweg belonged. This municipality was also subjected to a change of name after one year: this is now the municipality of Moerdijk.
