Bosiers


Della Bosiers, born as Adele Anne-Marie Julienne Emma Bosiers (Mortsel, 11 November 1946), is a Flemish singer. Her best-known songs are Fleur de Buda, Horizontal and Jefke. She became known on Flemish television as a panelist in the television show of the Wies Andersen show in late 1970s. biography

Della Bosiers was born in a family with three children. She studied journalism at the Katholieke Hogeschool voor Vrouwen in Antwerp. During her study time, she started writing texts and music for songs in Dutch, French and English. For a while she was connected to the BRT television as a directing assistant.

As a singer, Bosiers were noticed by Ramses Shaffy and Thijs van Leer, after which they were regularly seen in the Netherlands. In 1971 she released her first album Della Bosiers. Three years later Quartets followed. In 1975 she sang the duet People of eighteen with Wim De Craene on his album Everything is still with the old one. This is also the period they were shown in the Wies Andersen show.

Bosiers made many radio and television specials in Flanders and the Netherlands for different channels. She worked with the theater production Seven with Ben van der Linden and Christiaan Bor among others. In 1990 she was a jury in the BRT program "Observatory". She also presented the cooking program "Cordon Bleu".

She has written columns for Knack magazine and De Standaard magazine.

In the context of the "Catch Against Cancer" action, she made the singles. There is so much to do and yet ....
