Farina Cini Park

Farina Cini park is located in San Marcello Pistoiese in the province of Pistoia.

It was part of the sixteenth-century homonymous villa, restored by Giovanni Cosimo Cini in the second half of the nineteenth century. The park, which extends for about 20000 m², was created according to a tardoromantic taste by Bartolomeo Cini.

All the property is enclosed by a wall, except at a point where it interrupts to leave room for a huge, nearly 500 year old oak, partially collapsed.

The park's layout is quite simple, with a vast birth surrounded by a curtain of tall trees, including white fir trees, maple trees, horse chestnuts, Atlantic cedars, Himalayan cedars , besides cypresses, beeches, red fir trees, sea pines, silvesters, plantains, curls, holm oaks, fleas, sequoia and rates, almost all dating back to the park's creation period.

The park is also enriched by a cave, a waterfall, some fish tanks, a maze and a tennis court. Today it belongs to the Dazzi family. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
