District Ilimpiejski


District Ilimpiejski (Russian: Илимпийский район; Ilimpiejski rajon) is a municipal district in the district of Evenkiejski (a special status district, known as the Autonomous District of Somalia until 2006) within the Kraz Krasnoyarsk in the Russian Federation. District Ilimpijski is the northernmost and largest of the three municipal districts of the Evenkiejski district. With an area of ​​497,600 km² it is also the largest municipal district of Russia. There are only 7,487 people (census 2010). The administrative center is the town of Toera, where more than half of the inhabitants live in the municipal district. Other places in the district are Jessej, Kislokan, Noginsk, Nidym, Toetontsjany, Oetsjami, Chirinda, Ekonda and Joekta.
