Lower Bavarian Bad Triangle

The Lower Bavarian Bad Triangle (German: Das Niederbayerische Bäderdreieck) is a geographical name for the three Bad Birnbach baths, Bad Griesbach and Bad Füssing, which form a triangle more or less on a map. This casual formation is also called the triangle of the valley of the Rott.

Of these three villages, Bad Birnbach is closest to the west, namely in the Rottal-Inn circle; Bad Griesbach in the northeast and Bad Füssing in the southeast, on the other hand, are located in the district of Passau. The Lower Bavarian Bad Triangle is, of course, the biggest attraction of Lower Bavaria, and possibly also of Bavaria as a whole. Bad Füssing registers the largest number of overnight stays throughout Germany.
