Cazemier

Rommert Casimir (1877-1957). Hendrik Casimir (1909-2000).

Cazemier is the name of a Dutch gender, with different branches, originally from the north of the Netherlands.

The gender name can in principle be written in sixteen different ways, namely, as (C | K) A (S | Z) (I | E) M (I | IE) R. Almost all of the variants actually come true. All carriers of one of the variants of this gender, with the exception of the carriers of the name Cazemier van den Berg, originate from Hindrik Stoffers (ca. 1650-1727); he was around 1680 inhabitant of Tolbert. By the middle of the eighteenth century, his grandchildren apparently became independent of one of the variants of the carnemier name.

Members of the genus Cazemier were initially artisans, farm workers and farmers from the Westerkwartier, North Drenthe and East Frisia. From the twentieth century, the gender also provided and now provides higher education, including teachers and ministers. Famous Members
