Sixiangquan

The Four Expression Boxing (old ?, 四象 拳, sixiangquan, ssu hsiang ch'uan, literally "trad?") is an exercise of Chinese martial arts that belongs to the school created by Fu Zhensong. It is unclear who codified this exercise, in fact, authoritative sources of the School Fu indicated that Fu Yonghui 傅永輝 would have given him life in 1975; Master Chang Dsu Yao, however, would have learned it many years ago at Guilin's military academy. Also, a form with this name appears in the Kunlunquan style program. This Taolu contains elements of Taijiquan, Liangyiquan, Xingyiquan and Baguazhang. Following the theories of Yijing, "Taiji gives life to Liangyi, Liangyi gives life to Sixiang, Sixiang gives life to Bagua." The Sixiangquan consists of 108 shi (figures) and is divided into four parts each of which corresponds to the four styles that compose it. Curiously, the Caijiaquan (蔡家 拳) possesses both Taizhou Liangyiquan and Sixiangquan, two forms of Fu Zhensong School. Links externalize the wikitesto
