A camera seeker is a tool for determining what is being photographed or filmed. Most searchers exist either as an optical system (with lenses or mirrors) or are electronic (eg LCD) searchers.

Types of seekers Sportsman

A sports finder is a simple searcher that consists of a rectangular frame that needs to be kept at a certain distance, the window then indicates the image boundary. The advantage of a sports finder is that you also see what can happen outside of the image and anticipate it. Food glass

Technical cameras and SLRs use a matte glass to display the image captured by the lens as a viewfinder image. Parallax

For cameras where the viewfinder is loose from the lens, such as with compact cameras and two-way SLRs, taking into account that the image to be shot is shifted relative to the displayed image in the viewfinder, especially when shooting on smaller ones distances occur greatly. This phenomenon is called parallax. Cameras that use the capture lens for the viewfinder image, such as the SLR camera do not know this phenomenon. Also see
