A couple remains childless and the woman is therefore looking for the Anboto Woman. She climbs the rocks behind the village and arrives at the Cave of Anboto. A beautiful woman stands on a stone outside the cave and she combs her light hair with a golden comb. The woman asks the witch for advice and hears that a baby will be waiting for her at home. The woman is being warned; If she is unfriendly to the child, it will be taken back. At home, the woman finds a crib with the baby and the couple is very happy. They call the girl Mari and the foster parents feed the girl with love.

One day Mari hates the flock, but she loses them in a storm. She is looking for the animals again, but has to leave one cow. The foster mother immediately sees that a cow is missing and falls against the girl. She calls for her to disappear from her eyes, but she regrets immediately. The girl changes in front of her eyes and her dress turns red and flames are striking out. The Mari's hair rises straight up and lightning flashes appear above the village. Mari is taken on the clouds to her house in the mountains.

Years later, a man is herding his sheep near the mountain caves. He seeks a sheep and sees a woman in beautiful clothes spinning with a gold coil. He immediately falls in love with her and asks her name. Mari answers and they talk for a while, after which Mari goes home with the man. She stays with the man for seven years and they get seven children together. The pious man is sad, however, that his children grow up without knowledge of Jesus. Mari does not want to come near a church and does not consent to let her children baptize.

One day, the man decided to let the children baptize and he tightened his oxen for the car. He ties his wife to the car and drives down the mountain. The ropes are burning, and the woman calls with a voice like thunder that her children belong to heaven, but she has to go back to the mountains. Since then she has never been seen at the village, she is now called the Woman of the Cave. She is responsible for the storms coming from the mountains.

The Cave Woman rides on her cart with oxen through the dark clouds and on beautiful days she spins on the stone for her cave. The peasants want to live in peace with her life and once a year they celebrate the mist in the mountains. Backgrounds
