What I forget is a song written by Cristiano De André (for music) and by Father Fabrizio De André and Carlo Facchini of Tempi Duri (for the text) and interpreted by Christian himself, published as a single in 1994. < / p>
The track was presented at the 1994 Italian Festival but rejected, probably due to the theme in it. Subsequently placed in the album On the border of 1995, it is dedicated to a friend of Fabrizio, the Sardinian poet Fernando Carola, ill of AIDS.
An unpublished version of the song, recorded in duet by Cristiano and Fabrizio during the last tour of the latter, was inserted in the documentary In the stubborn and opposite direction of 2005.
Cristiano has resumed the track on the tour 2009-2010 De Andrè sings De Andrè and chose him as the single promotional of the second volume of the live cd. An interesting, completely acoustic version of the song was also published by the other author of the track, Carlo Facchini, and included in his album Dai Tempi Duri at Carboneria in 2010.
