Rockin'f

Rockin'f (ロ ッ キ ン f) is a magazine focused on rock, heavy metal and (to a lesser extent) hardcore punk music. It is produced and released in Japan. The first edition dates from July 1976. The magazine was usually sold for around 650 yen. Dimensions: 25.7 cm x 18.2 cm. On average, the sheet consists of 200 pages and is written in Japanese.

In the early years that followed, Jimmy Page stood several times on the front of the cover. Later, the magazine focused on bands from Japan. In addition to the written articles and interviews, rare pictures of live performances, posters, stickers, sheet music or limited promotional flexi were also included. In the later years, a CD or DVD was added regularly.

In the early 1980s bands like X Japan and Loudness were often featured in the magazine. In June 1988, the magazine together with the magazine brings out a flexi from X Japan. Using their record label, Extasy Records, the Japanese sung version of their song "Kurenai" was released. Later, more bands followed.

In early 2002, the publisher, Shinyusha Co., Ltd. bankruptcy. In 2005, another publisher will take over the job. Externe link
