Giuseppe Casoria (Acerra, October 1, 1908 - Rome, February 8, 2001) was an Italian religious and cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Casoria visited the seminar at his birthplace and then the Papal Lateran University, where he graduated in theology. Later, he obtained a PhD in both rights to the Pontifical Athenaeum San Apollinare. He was devoted to the priest on December 21, 1930, and then spent a number of years pastoral work in Rome. From 1937 to 1972, he was an officer, the Defender of the Marriage, attached to the Sacra Rota Romana. In addition, from 1954 he served as prime minister of the Supreme Court of the Apostolic Signature and served as a judge at various diocesan courts in Italy. In 1969, Casoria became Secretary of the Congregation for the Sacrament Discipline.

On 6 January 1972, Pope Paul VI named him as Titus Archbishop of Vescovio. He received his bishop's dedication from the hands of the Pope himself, including the Dutch Cardinal Bernardus Alfrink acting as co-decriber. Then he became the pre-prefect of the dicastery transformed into Congregation for the Divine Esteem and the Order of the Sacraments in 1981. During the consistory of 2 February 1983, Pope John Paul II created him cardinal deacon. The San Giuseppe in through Trionfale became his title comedy. He was prefect of the Congregation for Eredienst on the same occasion and would remain until 1984. In 1993, his titled cinema - pro hac vice - became his title church when he chose - for his high age - the order of the Cardinal Priests.
