Florida land boom

The Florida Country Tree was a real estate house that took place in the 20th century in the US state of Florida.

In the early 1920's, Florida became popular as a living and recreation area. For this reason, invested heavily in land, hotels, homes and roads. Over time, major land reclamation projects were set up. Parts of the Everglades (the swamp soils in southern Florida) were laid dry and artificial islands were laid on the Miami coast. When prices rose even further, even wetlands that did not even belong to the sea or near a city were sold for coarse money. At the end of 1925, it went wrong and burst this real estate bubble.

The hausse has had a shaping effect on the city of Miami and surrounds, and it is shaped to what it is now.
