Kwantor (linguistics)


A quantizer or numerical determination is a determinant in the syntax that provides more information about the amount of or not countable of the word it belongs to (usually a noun that may or may not be a substance name).

A quantum is not just a count word. Also words that indicate a non-countable limited amount, like some, many, all and some, are quantifiers. For example:
