The Boat of Venetia for Padua is the new mix of op. 12, are delightful madrigals composed by Adriano Banchieri and are part of Book 5 of the Madrigals 5 voices published in Venice in 1605. Venetian Boat for Padovandification wikitesto

It was first published in Venice in 1605, but a version arrived incomplete. A new edition, published in 1623, shows remarkable differences with respect to the former. As for the general approach, the first eight numbers and the last two remained in the same place. Among them, two closed scenes were originally inserted, then merged into one another in the second version, namely, at first five madrigals, one behind the other, and then the episode of Rizzolina. The madrigals were then reduced to four, of which only two belong to the first edition and also arranged differently, Rizzolina's scene was a little wider. In addition, you notice deep changes to the text and the music structure inside the pieces. Structure wikitesto modification
