The Lambeth choral book is a manuscript and miniature music code of 16th century sacred music that contains composer music during the Tudor dynasty. Opera modifies wikitesto

The most popular musicians are Robert Fayrfax and Nicholas Ludford who contributed to ten of the nineteen pieces contained in the book. Only three pieces of Fayrfax are explicitly attributed to him, while five are attributed to him by musicologists; these, along with two pieces of Ludford, are attributed to a comparison with some pieces contained in the Caius choral book and other manuscripts. The book also contains seven pieces of anonymous composers:

For some of the pieces there is no concordance and it seems possible that Fayrfax and Ludford's work may exist among the above. The book also contains the music of great composers such as Edmund Stourton and Walter Lambe, whose music can also be found in Eton's choral book.

The book is currently in the Lambeth Palace Library in London with MS 1 catalog number. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
