The company was founded in 1954, later it became a corporation of Eurometaal. Among other things, white phosphorus was used and the main activity consisted of filling ammunition with explosives. The company was accused of supplying pressure vessels and cartridge sleeves to Iraq in 1992, a delivery that was due in 1989 for the development of the Iraqi super cannon. There was free speech.

In 2001, the company was in difficulty as significant environmental investments had to be made, which the parent company Rheinmetall did not prove willing to produce. Closure followed in 2003, involving 160 employees. Present day
