A-395


The A-395 is a road to Spain in the autonomous community of Andalusia and the Province of Granada. The communication path is divided into two separate sections.

The Granada Ronda Sur, which runs along the southern outskirts of the city (Zaidín-Vergeles district) from the A-44 link to Serrallo tunnels; this is the main possibility of access to the Alhambra. In this busy trajectory they travel an average of 67,000 cars a day.

In the tunnel section of the Serrallo, it converts into a road from a single directional lane to the Sierra Nevada ski resorts, rising up to the record high of 3,367 meters s.l.m. makes it the tallest paved road in Europe, just below the peak of the Pico del Veleta, located just 25 meters higher.
