Emmet O'Brien (Dublin, March 7, 1981) is an Irish car driver. Career
In his early race career he performed in the British Formula Palmer Audi, Formula Ford and two years in the British Seat Cupra Championship. In 2005 he participated in the European Alfa Romeo 147 Challenge. His success resulted in a seat at the WTCC for the Wiechers Sport BMW Independent Team in the first half of the season 2006. In 2007, he re-entered the WTCC, now for GR Asia in a Seat Leon, after he became second finished in the European Touring Car Cup for the same team at the end of 2006. The season was a struggle, and again ended its season due to budget problems. In 2008 he participated in the Danish Touring Car Championship for the team Poulsen Motorsport in a BMW 320si.
