Ferdinando Amman (Milan, 1929) is an Italian physicist.
In 1953 he debuted at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, dealing mainly with the construction of the Frascati electroscrotrotron. In 1967, however, he was involved in the realization of the ADONE collection ring in Frascati. He is a member of the Observatory for the evaluation of the Italian university system of the Ministry of University and Scientific and Technological Research. Since 1973 he is a professor at the University of Pavia, he was also a lecturer at Carlo Cattaneo University in Castellanza.
