Guineueta is one of the 14 districts that make up Barcelona's Nou Barris district.
It has been around 57 hectares and it is bordered by the Central Park of the Nou Barris, Parc de la Guineueta, Karl Marx Square and Llucmajor Square.
Since the 1950s, as a result of the migration flow from other Spanish regions, construction of several buildings began in the place of abandoned vineyards and cereal fields that arose in the area.
The name of the neighborhood in Catalan means "small fox" and derives from the name of a mass in the area. The area known as Guineueta Nova forms today the Canyelles district. Other designers wikitesto
