Tony Drago

Tony Drago (Valletta, September 22, 1965) is a Maltese professional pole and snooker player. He bears the nickname The Maltese Falcon as well as Tony the Tornado, because of his high speed of play.

Drago won a best-of-17 snooker game against Joe O'Boye with 9-0 in 81 minutes (UK Snooker Championship 1990), a best-of-9 snooker game against Sean Lanigan in 34 minutes (1993) and made against John Higgins a century break (100+ points in one turn) in 210 seconds (UK Snooker Championship 1995).

Drago reached tenth place in the world rankings of snooker players in 1998, his highest position ever. He made a break of 147 points once, the highest possible score in one turn, under normal circumstances. A higher score is possible when the turn begins with bonus points after an opponent's fault. The Maltees scored 149 points in one break in an excercise match against Nick Manning at the West Norwood Snooker Club. Tournament
