Art Jarrett (Brooklyn, July 20, 1907 - Los Angeles, July 23, 1987) was a US singer, band leader and actor from the 30s and 40s.
From the end of the twenties Jarrett, a high tenor, sang at various dance orchestras, including those of Jimmy Noone, Red Nichols and Frankie Trumbauer. He was popular due to his appearance in several films, such as 'Dancing Lady' and 'Let's Fall in Love'. In 1936 he formed his own orchestra, which had little success. In 1941 he took over the lead of Hal Kemp's orchestra for a short while after his death by a car accident. He appeared in a few B films and married the swimmer Eleanor Holm, who also sang in his orchestra. In the 1940s he led several orchestras, later became Diskjockey.
