Doubler (bed)

Doubtful in Spain, Art Nouveau

A doubt is a bed of such width (100-120 cm) that it is single bed and narrow as a double bed. The name is a to this width, as if it doubts between single and double.

A doubler is especially fond of people who want to sleep well on their own, who want to sleep together with their two, or simply do not have the space to place a full double bed (at least 140 cm wide). < / p>

In the time that (poor) children-rich families often lived in a small house, the doubter was often used as a sleeping place for multiple children.
