He married in 1491 with Johanna van Halewijn (1470-1521). She was the daughter of Johan II of Halewijn, Lord of Halewijn, Lauwe, Veldegem and Roncq and Count of Roeselare (1435-1473) and Johanna van La Clyte, Lady of Komen and Countess of Nieuwpoort (1440-1512). >
