Robert Franciscus "Rob" Point (Alkmaar, December 2, 1957 - Alkmaar, February 12, 2005) was a Dutch motorcycle driver. In the early 1980s, he was especially fond of the Dutch street circuits, where he shot against drivers such as Jack Middelburg and Boet van Dulmen. Behind these international drivers was Point 'the best of the rest'.
In the GP games, Rob Point was just too short to ride in the points. Nevertheless, the Heiloo man with rankings between the 10th and 15th place left many international drivers in a time when the 500cc class had a strong occupied rider field.
The only time he captured points in the Netherlands during the TT of Assen in 1985 when he scored 10th place in his 500cc Suzuki. This made him a 24th place in the final grade that year.
In 1984 and 1985, Rob Point became Dutch champion in the Royal Class of Road Racetrack, the 500cc.
Rob Point died in 2005 at the age of 47
