Tarkus is a 1971 album of British progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & amp; Palmer. It is the second album of the band.
The number Tarkus fills one full side of the eleven version. Tarkus is made up of seven parts; Emerson's instrumental organ pieces and Lake songs are linked to one another.
The second side consists of six individual numbers. The last song, Are you ready, Eddy? is a homage to the man behind the Eddy Offord buttons.
