Yas (Arabic: جزيرة ياس) is an island in Abu Dhabi.
The artificial island has an area of 2,500 hectares, of which 1700 hectares for construction. The island includes not only Yas Marina Circuit, where the Grand Prix Formula 1 was driven since 2009; but also Warner Bros Movie World, a Warner Bros theme park, Ferrari theme park Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, hotels including Yas Marina Hotel, a water park and the Yas Mall.
Yas was named the world's largest tourism project by World Travel Awards in November 2009.
