Guan Kwong Temple of America is a Taoist temple devoted to the veritable Guan Yu. The temple is located on Broome Street, China Town, Manhattan. The temple was built in 1993 to familiarize the Chinese Americans with the three religions in the Chinese people's religion. At the temple opening there were all kinds of representatives of Chinese-American associations. In 1994, a major religious ceremony was held on the 24th day of the sixth month in the Chinese calendar in honor of Guan Yu's birthday. Externe link
