Necker-kubus
Louis Albert Necker (April 10, 1786 - November 20, 1861), son of botanist Jaques Necker and Albertine Andrienne de Saussure, was a Swiss crystallographer. His grandfather was the German mathematician Louis Necker. His mother's grandfather was the biologist, geologist and alpinist Horace-Bénédict de Saussure. From 1810 he was a professor at the Académie de Genève. The Necker cube was named after him because he published first cube pictures in 1832, which could not tell what the front and the back cube ribs were.
