Quirico Semeraro


Quirico Semeraro, best known as Rico Semeraro (Lecce, July 11, 1966), is an Italian sports entrepreneur and sportsman. He has been president of the Lecce Sports Union from 2002 to 2005 and has been a member of the Football Association. Carrieramodifica wikitesto

Active entrepreneur along with his family in various sectors including finance (Bank of Salento), oil, healthcare and tourism.

Since 1994, the Semeraro family takes control of Lecce and entrusts it to the lawyer Mario Moroni. Only in 2002 Rico Semeraro assumed the direct leadership of the company with his brother Pierandrea and Moroni himself as vice-presidents.

On September 13, 2005, following a violent contest by fans, Rico Semeraro and all management abandoned corporate management until the end of the season ended with the relegation of giallorossi. The following season the role of president is assumed by Rico's father, John Semeraro.

Rico Semeraro has also been a member of the Lega Elected in 2003 to replace Stefano Tanzi
