Antenna, mainly known as ANT1, is a television network whose broadcasts are visible in Greece and Cyprus. The alternative pronunciation of the name is a Greek word game: "ena" (ένα) in Greek means "1", so "ANT1" is pronounced the same way as "Antenna" (Αντέννα).
ANT1 broadcasts began on December 31, 1989, in the same year as the Mega Channel rival, and is owned by the ANT1 Group. ANT1 has been one of the most popular television channels in Greece for many years, thanks to popular television series such as Lampsi and Kalimera Zoi. However in more recent times Mega Channel has become the most watched Greek channel, overcoming ANT1, which still keeps a good track.
